Happy Friday! Here are my Friday favourites for this week.
Listening to: Mostly Boy & Bear. I’m gearing up for their new album release, so in the meantime I’ve been playing their past folky, infectious songs over and over.
Currently reading: The Color Purple by Alice Walker. The book was a birthday present from my mum and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It tells the story about the lives of women of colour in the 1930s American South, and it really is a must-read classic.
Admiring: The Hippie Lane food app by Taline Gabriel. After months of admiring Taline’s Instagram, I downloaded the app and have since been in awe of the amazing vegan, raw recipes.
Eating: I recently stocked up on wholefoods at my local The Source Bulk Foods and have been eating my way through everything. Think dark chocolate covered macadamias, dried mango + apple, almond butter and raw granola. If you live in Australia I highly recommend checking them out at one of their 16 stores – it’s a great way to support your local and reduce plastic waste!
Thinking about: Summer! Summer weather, fruits, the beach, everything. I can’t wait to spend days by the sea, soaking up the sun and relaxing.
Generally relishing: Slow mornings spent reading in bed. Longer warm, sunny spring days and cool nights. Spending time with my loved-ones. Keeping busy but staying balanced. Spring cleaning and decluttering my room and wardrobe.
The week’s highlights: It’s been an exciting week! Firstly, I have just completed a resign of my blog, including a change in theme and a gorgeous handlettered blog header designed by the talented Zaffar from White Smoke Design. Secondly, a big thank you to nourish magazine for presenting me the Instagrammer of Influence People’s Choice award. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have all you amazing people follow me. Lastly, I was featured along with my Vegan Apple Crumble recipe on Rachel Campbell’s Raw Food website. I would love for you to check it out!
